Milton Nascimento, a singer with one of the most unique and beautiful falsetto voices of musical world, has recorded many great songs during his long and successful career. This compilation, however, doesn't manage to capture much of the essence of the best this great artist has to offer. The repertoire here focuses far too much on Nascimento's late-'70s and early-'80s output. There are some very beautiful songs here, like "Anima", "Cacador de Mim", and "Cio da Terra", but as an overall compilation, it is not all that good. Arguably, the most important and impressive period of Nascimento's career was the '60s and the first half of the '70s. This period is virtually unrepresented here.
